Human-centred systems for learning and rehabilitation

NeuraXplore is building AI, XR, and neuroscience-informed systems for adaptive learning and neurorehabilitation, with European privacy-by-design and human-in-the-loop choices as structural advantages.

Investment thesis

Measurement, adaptation, and oversight in one loop

Instruction and therapy still assume a narrow band of attention and working memory. NeuraXplore measures unobtrusive, task-linked proxies for cognitive load at the edge, adapts scaffolding in real time where appropriate, and keeps teachers and clinicians in control. That closed loop applies across education (NeuroPALS and PALS Cortex), career orientation (PALS Pathway), and clinical neurorehabilitation concepts (MindForge), with shared technology and differentiated go-to-market.

Market context

Europe's e-learning market is around €111B (2025) and the EdTech sector is estimated near €54B (2024). Against that backdrop, the figures below are a bottom-up, priced estimate for our specific segment — directional sector scale, not a revenue forecast.

TAM
≈ €2.8B / yr

EU secondary education, at our price

≈37.5M lower- and upper-secondary pupils in the EU (Eurostat, 2024) × €75 per student per year.

SAM
≈ €70M / yr

Netherlands secondary beachhead

≈930k Dutch secondary (vo) students (DUO/OCW, 2024) × €75 per student per year.

SOM
≈ €2–3M ARR

Near-term obtainable

A low single-digit share (~3–5%) of Dutch secondary students across the scale-up phase.

Estimates only, built on our illustrative €75/student/year structure and public enrolment data. Actual pricing, cohort sizes, and adoption will differ.

Health and neurorehabilitation

≈ €60B / yr

EU stroke-care burden (2017, SAFE), with ~1.1M strokes in Europe each year and ~10M people living with the long-term effects.

MindForge addresses an emerging slice of this need: neurorehabilitation devices are a ~$2B global market growing at double-digit rates, with VR-supported rehabilitation a fast-growing segment. The demand is for systems that improve engagement and preparation for therapy, without replacing clinical judgment.

Commercial model

Institutional contracts with optional consumer reach

B2B institutions

Per-school or per-institution agreements. Illustrative structure discussed with early adopters: on the order of €75 per student per year for licensed deployment, subject to scope, cohort size, and services.

Recurring, contract-led revenue

B2C

Consumer subscription for out-of-school use, discussed at approximately €15 per month where product economics and local pricing support it.

Diversification and direct feedback loop

Traction

Early pilot work and research depth

  • Early pilot: Novo College (NeuroPALS pilot with educator oversight).
  • Pipeline: Additional school conversations and clinical design partners in Europe.
  • Research network: Dia, LVO Limburgs Voortgezet Onderwijs, Novo College, and Brightlands Maastricht Health Campus.
  • Non-dilutive support: MIT feasibility funding received (timing and use per internal records).

Validation partners

Dia

Education network partnership for neuro-adaptive learning rollout

LVO Limburgs Voortgezet Onderwijs

Regional secondary education network and validation context

Novo College

Early NeuroPALS pilot with educator oversight

Brightlands Maastricht Health Campus

Innovation ecosystem for health and life sciences

IP and defensibility

Hybrid approach: trade secrets around signal handling and adaptation, copyright on platform assets and materials, and patent landscaping informed by RVO (Netherlands Enterprise Agency) search advice. We do not claim freedom-to-operate until counsel completes FTO work for each product line and jurisdiction.

  • Edge-first processing and adaptation pipelines
  • Platform, content, and documentation under copyright
  • Patent strategy staged with product milestones and counsel review
